Wenn wir schon dem Pazifik so nahe gekommen sind, dann sollten wir ihn auch besuchen.
Zum Nachmittag haben wir uns deshalb in Richtung Strand aufgemacht. Wie so üblich, was auf der Karte gleich um die Ecke aussieht hat es mal wieder einige Zeit gedauert bis wir dort waren.
Auf dem Weg dahin sind wir noch in einen Walmart gefahren und haben Lebensmittel eingekauft.
Danach hat uns nur noch ein Unfall auf unserer Fahrtrichtung aufgehalten den wir umfahren mußten, was uns glücklicherweise problemlos gelang.
In Huntington angekommen sind wir direkt auf den Strandparkplatz gefahren und waren einfach nur beeindruckt. Es ist großartig an einem Ozean zu stehen, diese Erfahrung konnte ich schon des öfteren machen, wenn dann noch ein schöner Sandstrand dazukommt und jede Menge brennende Lagerfeuer dann ist das schon überwältigend.
Wir sind dann gleich mal losgestiefelt um uns das Meerwasser um die Füße spielen zu lassen.
Es war so faszinierend, daß Jeremias und ich beschlossen ein Bad zu wagen.
Dieses Erlebnis war mehr als fantastisch, zumal das Wasser angenehm warm war.
